RAE

RAE 2008 is the sixth in a series of exercises conducted nationally to assess the quality of UK research and to inform the selective distribution of public funds for research by the four UK higher education funding bodies.

As part of this review individual researchers are assessed, and as part of this process the school assesses its research staff each year. Based on the RAE process (a scale of 0-4 and 0*-4* (zero-star to four-star)) my current rating is 3* (three-star) defined as 'Internationally Excellent' based on the 'esteem indicators' above (see biography) and the 4 papers below:
