Any of my own work published here is only copyright if it has been published elsewhere, in which case that copyright takes precedence. All other work is copyright protected in accordance with that established by the particular author. I maintain my right of intellectual copyright/property-right over my own work, but apart from that it isn't protected in any way and is copyright under the Creative Commons Share Alike Notice. Universities and other companies sometimes maintain their own copyright protections that you also need to defer to. Remember you can pretty much make quotes and use work verbatim as long as you appropriately credit the author but you may need to check it out on a case by case basis.
